Dr. Thomas P. Short
Medical Director and Co-Founder
Dr. Short, a board-certified internist and gastroenterologist, co-founded Clinica Medica Moscati with his wife, Mayra, with the mission of providing compassionate care to the uninsured.
Originally from Tampa, Florida, Dr. Short grew up in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and graduated from Ponce School of Medicine. After completing his residency in Roanoke, Virginia, he dedicated three years to serving Hispanic migrant workers at the Ruskin Migrant Health Center in Florida. This experience fueled his passion for providing healthcare to underserved communities.
Dr. Short then pursued a specialization in gastroenterology, bringing his expertise to the clinic. He is committed to providing quality care to our patients, ensuring they receive the best possible treatment for their digestive health needs.
