The Heart of Clinica Medica Moscati
Opened in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic in January 2021, Clinica Medica Moscati was founded to address a critical need: affordable specialist healthcare for the uninsured, with a focus on the Hispanic community.
Our Vision
Witnessing the increasing challenges faced by uninsured individuals in accessing specialized care, we envisioned a model that bridges the gap between high-quality specialty services and affordability. Through a unique partnership with Huntsville Hospital and collaboration with private practices, we are turning this vision into reality.
A Network of Affordable Care
Today, our patients have affordable access to a wide range of specialties, including:

We also partner with local radiology centers to offer discounted imaging services like CT scans, X-rays, ultrasounds, and MRIs.
Community at Heart
We believe in the power of community. We actively seek partnerships with other non-profit organizations to provide comprehensive support for our patients, ensuring they receive the help they need beyond medical care.
Blooming Where We’re Planted
Inspired by Mother Teresa’s words, “Bloom where you are planted,” we are rooted in Huntsville, dedicated to serving our local community. We believe that meaningful change begins right here, in our own backyard.

Our Inspiration
St. Giuseppe Moscati was an Italian doctor, and a brilliant scientific researcher, whose work laid the groundwork for the discovery of insulin in treating diabetes. He was a university professor noted both for his pioneering work in biochemistry and for his piety. He saw the poor for free and often paid for their medicines. He is known as the “doctor of the poor” and was canonized by the Catholic Church in 1987, his feast day is November 16. His love and care for the suffering poor has been an inspiration to us. The clinic was named in his honor and as a reminder of what medicine should aspire to be.
